Background
I was born in Cuba where I grew up surrounded by sun and Salsa
and graduated from one of Havana's most prestigious schools of art as Professor and Instructor of Dance. For years
I taught adults and children and excelled in dance festivals across Cuba. My Salsa and Cuban folklore dance teams have featured
at some of the country's finest tourist resorts.
Salsa hits town
In 1999 I decided to introduce Cuban Salsa to Blackpool and I haven't looked back since. My teaching is professional
(some say strict!), but fun and I always share the latest Cuban moves and music with my students. My greatest satisfaction
comes from knowing that each and every one of my students has learnt something new by the end of a class!
Along came Zumba
When I first heard about Zumba I thought it was just a passing phase,
but little did I know I would be the greatest Zumba addict of them all. Zumba is great for keeping in shape, but it's
so much more than that, it's a party! With my natural dance moves, access to the latest Latin music, and dedication
to giving the best to my students, the classes are packed with great steps, great rhythms and great fun! Give it a go
and I guarantee you'll be hooked!
